KZ completed construction of the 20,114 SF freestanding Long’s Drugs which opened for business on 5/18/2014. The project was an assemblage of over an acre and a half of land located at 1030 King Street in Honolulu, Hawaii. Budgeted project costs were in excess of $25 million dollars, making this one of the most expensive Long’s projects to date.
The site is situated in the neighborhood of Makiki, one of the busiest neighborhoods in Honolulu and is expected to service a trade area consisting of more than 50,000 residents. Within a few blocks of the site are numerous high rise residential towers, several major medical centers, medical office buildings, the Neal Blaisdel Center, and the Honolulu Academy of Arts.
