HONOLULU, HI – KZ Companies, LLC recently completed construction of a 25,000 sq. ft. Longs Drugs in the town of Aina Haina on the island of Oahu at the corner of Kalanianaole Highway and West Hind Drive. This location marks the third Longs Drugs that KZ, along with CVS/Longs, has completed in 2015 in the state of Hawaii. This also marks the third project completion in the state of Hawaii for Robert Falar, Director of Construction for KZ Companies.

Project Completion – Poipu, HI Longs Drugs

POIPU, HI – KZ turns over the recently completed construction of a single tenant Longs Drugs in the small community of Poipu on the island of Kauai. KZ Companies, LLC and CVS/Longs, with the help of Architects Hawaii Limited and Shioi, built a beautiful 10,000 sq. ft. store that marks the 4th Longs Drugs on the island of Kauai.

WAIKIKI, HI – KZ Companies, LLC turns over the recently completed flagship Longs Drugs in downtown Waikiki making it the first Longs Drugs within Waikiki. The two-story, 20,438 sq. ft. flagship store is located on the ground floor of the Bank of Hawaii tower in the heart of downtown Waikiki at the corner of Kalakaua Avenue and Beach Walk.

KZ Acquires Concord Terminal Shopping Center in Concord, CA

Irvine, Calif — July 2015 — KZ Companies, LLC (“KZ”) has purchased the Concord Terminal Shopping Center for $7,250,000.  The acquisition is a 41,400-square-foot shopping center occupied by CVS Pharmacy and Big 5 Sporting Goods located at 2677 and 2689 Clayton Road, Concord, California. This property will be added to KZ’s core asset portfolio.

Kevin Van Voorhis, Henry Englehardt and Deborah Perry with Collier’s International represented the sellers, Logan Survivor’s Trust and Logan Non-Exempt Marital Trust, in this transaction. Smart & Final expansion and remodel

HEMET, CALIF. – Smart & Final has completed a $1.5M expansion and remodel of the Smart & Final location in Hemet, CA converting it to a Smart & Final “Extra!” The expansion included an additional 803 sq. ft. added to the store to make it a total of 20,803 sq. ft. The remodel consisted of new exterior signage, the addition of refrigerators, fresh meat section, larger selection of fruits and vegetables, etc. Upon completion, Smart & Final entered into a new 15 year Lease.

Project Completion – Riverside CVS Pharmacy

RIVERSIDE, CA – KZ turns over the recently completed construction of a 11,500 sq. ft. single tenant CVS Pharmacy.  KZ worked in part with Stater Brothers to redevelop the entire shopping center located at the southeast corner of Lincoln and Mary in Riverside, CA.

SOLD! NNN Single Tenant Net Leased CVS Pharmacy in Long Beach

KZ Companies’ team is pleased to announce its construction completion and sale of a single-tenant, net leased (STNL) CVS Pharmacy in Long Beach, California.

The project is the result of a long effort in redeveloping the notorious Long Beach Traffic Circle property after acquiring it from the Bixby Land Company which had not traded ownership in the previous 115 years. There was an exceptional amount of interest in the property and close of escrow was less than 45 days. The buyer was a tax-deferred exchange and acquired the property all-cash.
